-Takeaways • Just like the patriots back then, the patriots of today are up against the most powerful entities of the world. • The British were more organized, had superior equipment/training, more funding, more soldiers, etc. But this didn’t stop our forefathers from giving it their all to the cause of liberty. • It took the patriots 7 years to defeat the British. Just like these heroes we do not stop this fight for freedom (fight between good and evil) until our last breaths. • The patriots won because they were on God’s side.
