Or is it just me? I can't remember the last decent night's sleep I had. Please don't get me wrong, I'm so relieved to be "awake," but my brain never shuts down. I'm trying my best to wait out the plan, but some days are tougher than others.
I'm so grateful for Q and this board. Thanks for letting me vent!
Me, me, me, and me. But still feeling great. Being outdoors is great too. Also, you could try to implement some routine into your life: organisation and discipline is key to having a successful life, and to one that makes you feel proud of yourself. I just don't see how you can achieve anything without some sort of discipline.
Wake up at the same time every day, don't check the news, pray, have a shower, listen to some music, do your bed, have breakfast, and then maybe check the news. Likewise, at night, no phones in your bedroom, the sleep is simply not the same with a phone in your bedroom. Read a book, fall asleep... If you wake up reacting to news, whether good or bad, you can't have a good life. Waiting for the plan to work out does not mean forgetting about yourself.
I'm pretty sure Trump didn't say: "hey guys, there's a plan, you know there's a plan, but we can't give you the details, so in the meantime, can you just press that F5 a hundred times a day, sit down and read articles after articles, and don't ever think of going out, or taking your minds off politics". You know where I'm getting at.
I like to think I'm pretty disciplined. I do most of the stuff you mentioned. I don't watch the news. The only news I get is mainly from here. I also have an incurable neurological condition that doesn't help the sleep aspect either. Thanks for your input, though. I appreciate it. As "they" say, this too shall pass.
I have Delayed-Sleep Phase Disorder. I can wait to retire so I can actually get a full ‘nights’ sleep.
