It turns out that Cyber Ninjas picked this attorney with lead to the recusal of the current judge. Why they did this is beyond me. I’m sure we will find out soon
In AZ, the county superior court judges are voted on in the general 4 year elections. Maricopa has about 40. We used to get a pamphlet on the rating that judges had from their peers, the bar, etc. Usually it was "he's fine." The worst one I ever saw over the years was about 60% fine, and I don't think even he was voted out, because no one pays attention, in fact they hardly get voted on. And the list of them is on the back side of the ballot, where, if sharpies were used, the ink would bleed.
But which auditors, specifically?
With how deep the corruption brought to light is we can only assume a few people on the audit team are guaranteed black hats.
Hopefully they know what they’re doing. Seems like a funny thing to do when Coury was pretty much - but pretty much only - on our side. We’ll see. In this new world where there’s no rule of law, nothing is easy to know anymore.
I doubt the auditors knew that it would lead to the judges recusal.
I’m sure they knew of the conflict of interest. For our side to hire an attorney without realizing there would be a conflict of interest seems counter intuitive
I believe he was hired because he was a conservative lawyer. At least, that is what I saw from other comments. How would our side know of every person he ever worked with or worked under?
