After reading all the posts here about the wonders of Ivermectin, I decided to start taking it. I found a bottle from my local Tractor Supply, but didn't realize it was injectable until I got home.
The bottle says 1 ml per 110 pounds. This is the exact formula I came up with for the liquid form.
Can I take this in water like the liquid form? Thank you in advance for your responses. :-)
I use this on all of my animals and pull the dose and squirt in there feed as per the Vet. It is injectable for cows and many herd animals because unlike horses that you can get there mouth open and squirt the paste in and doing that on a cow that might rarely be handled will not happen so running them thru a squeeze shoot and sticking them is much easier. I do use it on my milk cow in her feed instead of sticking her. Reason....Horse people will pay more money for there stuff than ranchers so I only buy cattle wormer for all of my animals because it ends up being cheaper by the dose. I have talked to several other farm people and all concur if needed we will take a the injectable dose in some OJ. Not a Dr or vet just a farm girl.
