Reminds me of something Bryson Gray (one of the pro-MAGA rappers) was saying in a recent live stream, talking about how he knew from early on that he had musical talent but when he went the typical rapper route success always was just out of his reach and he started to wonder "maybe I'm using my gifts in the wrong way? Has God been nudging me off this path and I'm just ignoring the hints?" That is what put him on his current course where he's much happier and enjoying much more success.
