Does anyone know of anything significant with the date of September 13th?

In January my employer let us know we would be returning to the office for work on 9/13. I thought it was odd to be such a specific date. I will leave out where I work, but it is a large publicly traded company that does deal with the government and healthcare.

Now I just read that TSA is prolonging its mask mandate until 9/13.

I can’t remember, but there was one other connection to this date in regards to Covid. If I remember I will edit post or comment.

So why this date? It’s not the end of a quarter. It’s not the end of a season. Schools are already back. What an I missing? Why would this be a target date for some sort of relief from Covid.
