My pool guy (very reputable, been in business for decades) said the industry has been talking about this possibility for a year but suddenly MSM decided to start having a lot of stories on it. Reason? More pools built or purchased because of covid lockdowns. They still haven’t really seen a decrease in availability and have plenty of chlorine products. So far-its just a mainstream media thing (causing panic buying) which will result in higher prices and limited resources. See how they’re creating the problem when there wasn’t a problem?
