I could be off base with this one, but what if the (forbidden fruit) of the Bible is the flesh of children / aka- flesh of the gods. The consumers see themselves as gods because it prolongs life. Maybe the photos we see of celebrity lookalikes from 1890 are in fact the same monsters appearing in movies today. Thoughts?

The "forbidden fruit" was the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. YHVH allowed man to partake from the Tree of Life, but instructed not to eat from the former or "ye shall surely die." Once Adam and Eve disobeyed "The Lord," he banished them from the garden so they could no longer partake of the Tree of Life.
While the meaning of this allegorical story has been debated ever since the Church decided to conflate Elohim, YHVH, and God the Father with each other, you may rest assured that it certainly does not, in any aspect, mean the flesh of children.
Genesis chapter 2. talks about trees in the garden and dont eat from the tree of life or you will surely die.
i dont think ppl were growing on trees. we both know thats where money really comes from, but not ppl, courtesy of the federal reserve.
it would have to be a very liberal interpretation. much more allegorical than literal.
