This just seemed a bit random to me. Got this text out of the blue about emergency preparedness from T-Mobile and how their network is ready to stay functioning during an emergency.
Where part of the country do you live in? I am the DFW area and we had a thunderstorm/tornado warning on Monday and did have one last week (2 inch diameter hail in parts around here) which could have been the reason why I was sent this message recently as well. I still have an area that isnt from the DFW area as well. It could just be something precautionary from providers.
I do think its odd given I think i've been through worse - especially the "deep freeze" back in feb when the tmobile network became a huge crawl and there was no messaging like this. But maybe all this is a reaction to what happened in Feb.
Basically I wouldnt read too much into it. Not everything I would say needs to have some sort of tie-in with Q. Some things are just things. I tend to question most everything but I only dwell and dive in on things that really don't make any sense to me. There seems like to me a reasonable and plausible explanation for this message.
I live in Los Angeles, so definitely not related to any recent weather events. Haven’t heard of any potential disasters that could strike here. Still seems odd to me.
