Red strings around the wrist are common in many folk beliefs; for example the kalava is a Hindu version.

What’s wrong with Kabbalah? Genuine question. I thought it was just an extension of mystic Judaism similar to the Essenes, who John the Baptist and Jesus both likely studied under.. I could be wrong though. I’d like to hear your take
