Lindell treating him with grace, forgiveness, and love (i.e. Christ-like) would be the perfect ending. Showing God's love and the repentence (an example for others on the DS to surrender).

I'm not saying he should be spared from Man's Justice, though ... just shown his soul can be redeemed by our Lord (before he's lead away in chains to be locked away in Gitmo).
