Is it possible that white hats interfered/undermined the engineered bio weapon so it would disintegrate into a novel flu-type disease?

Once released the deep state toadies would have no choice than to go for it anyway and run their pre-existing playbook despite the less grave impacts.

I suspect if this had been a functional weapon we would have fared much worse.

If I had to guess, it would be the human infectionable variant that was created.

Covid 19 has been around/known about by farmers since the 70s, albeit under its original name. They've been innoculating and treating it in animals for decades, same as many other diseases.
