Some are saying the magnet thing is a hoax (or, the magnet thing doesn't work 100% of the time or even 50% of the time). My son tried it on a friend who got 2 doses and it didn't work. I'd suggest you find better information which is certainly available on this site and elsewhere, to have better chance of success of her avoiding the second shot. If she gets convinced this is a hoax, she could disregard any other information right away.
depends on depth of injection, redistribution, blood flow, time from injection until magnet test, lots of variables.
I've also read some comments about iron from RBC's 'aggregating' at the injection site to do the magnet thing. Mechanism of how they got there, I don't know.
There are so many better reasons, the behavioral nugget here is she is grasping for a straw. Give her some other reasons.
