I recall doing a very mathematically correct calculation which I post to VOAT a couple of years ago. Details included how many to be hanged during The Day of The Rope, how many feet of Rope was needed for most efficient hanging rope with a well-made noose, and narrowing the size of The Rope to 5/8th inch diameter. Seems to me something on the order of 63 million feet of Rope was needed if the hanging Rope was not reused. That is a lot of Rope. I concluded that the gillotine would be much more efficient and allow faster through-put of traitors. IDK, perhaps others could improve this, but really The Rope is so much more visually spectacular when televised and pod-cast world-wide. Remember we're talking about several million traitors.
Too bad we're on the civilized size. Otherwise we can put the Sheriff of Nottingham in charge and use spoons:
Guy of Gisborne: Why a spoon, cousin? Why not an axe?
Sheriff of Nottingham: Because it's dull, you twit. It'll hurt more!
Kidding. Any change I guess will need DOJ or Military Court approval. The fact that they approved firing squads etc and announced it and no one flipped out or did a double take was very interesting.
I think a GoFundMe account for ROPE would break fund raising records.
Can't we just kick them down Grand Canyon, Feed them to 'gators in the southeast or just lop their heads off, french style ?
Fear Not. The beauty of rope is that the same length of rope and noose can be used over and over. In fact you don't have to sanitize it between uses.
Natural hemp fiber, polypropylene, nylon...all good choices for their various attributes. I'm going with Kevlar.

No shortage on firewood, is burning at the stake still an option?
We still have our hands!
