A Meme for the Moment - I hope you like it and repost as you see fit.
There is a Berlin Wall moment for the world in the making. There will be no going back, can you feel it?
It will signify the total collapse of the the Digital Iron curtain that has been so carefully and slowly erected around our daily field of view these last 10 years. A digital wall whose electric bricks have enclosed every mind on the planet because each brick was offered a piece at a time for FREE.
The Big-Tech platforms consolidated key positions to create a magical garden, a world of distraction. The Wall spoke to you. The Wall told you what to think. The Wall told you that it loved you more than anything, more than your family. The Wall provided you connection to others because they were also behind the wall. The Wall gathered you together. The Wall kept you in one place. The wall protected you - It protected you from what?
It protected you from your inalienable FREEDOM by pretending to be FREE.
Humanity will once again roam in it's FREEDOMAIN.
The Wall is coming down, any day now.
Keep watching the water and get ready to hoist up new frenz or throw whomever needs a life line where you can. Whatever it takes.
It is interesting to think back to the Berlin wall. I was in college and back in those days, I had a subscription to Newsweek to keep up on current events. The local paper did not cover much more than the college paper and it was a concise summary of national/world events. So while I wasn't totally focused, I wasn't completely ignorant about current events. (Remember - no internet and TV in college, especially cable, was a luxury that many of us chose to do without. )
The reason I mention this it seemed that life was humming along and then all of a sudden, one day - boom. It happened. I am sure if I went back and looked there were clues, but I don't recall anything dramatic in the press at the time leasing up to it...I am kind of expecting the same thing.
