Viruses dont evolve to kill their host, no parasite would survive long if that were the case.

A virus that is highly infectious, would naturally evolve to be less deadly faster than a highly lethal virus that instantly kills its host.

It was made in a lab and escaped, but evolved to be less lethal. Meanwhile trumps enemies overexagerated it to use fear against us.
