I don’t think so different mechanisms I think. Also I’m allergic to amoxicillin and took ivermectin and had no reaction to ivermectin. I am not a doctor.

Yes, on the durvet paste it has little notches on it each for 50 lbs weight. As horses have roughly same (I read) metabolic rate per kg compared to humans the translation for dosing is 1 to 1. So at least that is easy. As I am around 200 lbs I dispense 4 notches. Also I read you take it not everyday but one dose 1st day and then 2nd dose on 3rd day. And then does every week or every other week for preventative
