Not true, I know a detective who works on sex crimes, and crimes against children in Melbourne VIC, he had cases booked to go to court 1st week of June right up until lockdown hit, and has had to rescheduled to 2nd week of June.
edit: To be clear, the courts/police didn't know lockdown wouldn't be just one week, or that it would happen at all, but i'm sure that Chairman Dan knew it won't be one week. He is 'scheduled' to be back at work next month, my guess is so he can return to be the 'saviour' to take us out of lockdown. Also, state of emergency powers are up in a few days and parliment has to vote again on them being extended, so it's amazing timing after months of no cases, that we get this outbreak at the perfect time to motivate politicians to vote for extension.
