Hey frens, AD military here and during the craziness going on in march-aug of last year anytime you were a close contact you'd get tested (can't say no). I got the nostril swab test twice. Both negative but I'm seeing that if you were swabbed you're fucked? Never took the death shot. Am I screwed or what's the consensus on this stuff. If screwed what am I supposed to do frens.

My husband went to the ER 3 weeks ago. They could have cared about Covid-no swab, little handwashing. When he was to be transferred to the floor, all of a sudden they wanted to swab him, with a test swab not designed and often set to high , to capture Covid. We said no in the ER. They said, “we will have to treat you as infected-only one visitor and we have to gown and wear a face shield.” No problem for us. Got to the floor and they tried to swab him again. Male nurse was pissed because he wouldn’t submit. No one ever stopped me and told me to gown, glove, mask before entering. (I am a nurse, so I knew the routine.) strikes me though as odd that one area of the hospital is very blasé about testing and the other isn’t. Just shows what a farce the entire process is.
