I would suggest that’s what Lindbergh was speaking on.. nothing God created is innately evil.. money, weapons..etc. are neither good or bad.. what moral compass seeks or uses it determines that. The greater the good anything can be used for, the greater the evil it can be used for.. science can be used for great things…. HENSE !!!!
While the scientific method must remain neutral, its ethics must restrict its ability to do anything to anyone.
Every field has ethics. The ? Is what governs the behavior within that field? Profit? Christian morals? Islam?
Hence the controversies over cloning, issues of informed consent, etc.
Without rules, mankind will find a way to turn any endeavor into a self serving, sociopathic one.
