Supposedly, Marine One can't land in its usual place due to "construction". Even though you can clearly see on the video, it's usual landing spot is clear behind the white fence. Then the Biden's are driven in using the Presidential Motorcade. It's very obvious that Biden isn't staying at the White House and the construction is an excuse. This pick up is 100% for the optics. He was more than likely flown in from where ever they are keeping him in, then driven to the pickup location where Marine One lands.
