This sounds like a great way to troll these flogs. Make it seem like there is a whistleblower so they try to get out ahead of the news, only to find out there was either no whistleblower at all or they just overheard some nothingburger conversation.

To be fair, it is difficult to impossible to prove there is no whistleblower at this point. The burden of proof is on the claim that there IS a whistleblower.
