Do not take advice from the fucking news!

Without some training and special tweezers you will crush the embedded tick and increase the chances of infection.

The bacterium resides and multiplies in the mid-gut, and squeezing the tick is like squeezing a syringe.

I have ultra-fine tipped forceps used only for removing embedded ticks. Then I dunk them in alcohol and send them off for identification.

yes . i have a special aluminum tool called "tick wrangler" works good
