I’ve heard similar things as well. Thing is, it’s near impossible to redpill those that need it without something to back it up. It’s hard enough when you DO have a solid source. I could say ‘thousands’ of kids go missing every year and be met with skepticism, say 800,000 and not be able to cite a credible source for that number and the conversation is over.
I’m not disagreeing with anybody here. Knowing what I already know, 800,000 wouldn’t surprise me. But the fact is we’ll never wake anybody up by merely tossing out numbers, especially one that large.
Do you have any sauce for that 800,000 claim? That works out to be 44 kids every single day in each of the 50 states. Every single day.
With those kind of numbers it seems like every one of us would know of several missing kids. I personally know of exactly zero.
Edit to add: I know that missing children is a huge problem and I don’t mean to call out the OP, just would like a source for that big a number.
I’ve heard it many times from credible sources.. mostly displaced children.. fosters.. kids lost in the system..
