The biggest bitch of the whole video is the guy who’s actually videotaping it. He could’ve helped the guy, people are so obsessed with videotaping everything it’s ridiculous. He stand by and watch is a patriot get beat up

I'm just guessing but I kinda get the feeling that the boy who got assaulted has tried shopping at that Ace before and had been previously harassed? So he went back with his friend who taped the aggressive response. I definitely don't think he expected THAT kind of response though.
