Intimidation tactic. Free advertisement of their military “might.” They won’t do shit. It’s all about Dongsha (Pratas islands.)

Appear weak when you are strong. Scrambling jets is a joy for our pilots. They are not “fatigued.” We have the budget. Hell we just bought almost 500 million in missile systems from the US this week.
