Nowhere is this more clear than the number of emergency spillway erosion events that occurred during the Trump years where there was just too much dam water.
The most extreme example was Oroville:

Less than one month into office and HELLO WATER!
The democrats steal back power and suddenly we are out of water to the point where that same Dam is going to shut down for the first time EVER.
At this point I'm feeling a full-on tin-foil episode coming on.
California weather is a very predictable cycle, with some outliers. There were huge floods around 1996, Vice President gore and maybe even Clinton toured the Sacramento area to view the flooding damage. There was a huge flood in 1986, floods in the mid 70s, 60s, etc. Flooding in 2006 was more north, like yuba city/marysville area. Then in or 2017 or 2018 we had floods and massive snow, now we’re going back to another 8-10 years of drought. It’s the same damn pattern every decade and people act like they’ve never seen this kind of weather before. My criticism of CA has always been that no new reservoirs were built after the 1970s and they release tons of water and never save it.
live in central valley of California. there is a concerted efert in the state to kill small farmers by way of drought and to have corprat farms take over....water shortages here from drought are manufactured ....drought is real but the politicians do not want the problems solved.
