I'm gonna mention it here. Back in what, Dec. Jan. Wasn't there a couple hints that the DS was literally contemplating activating a nuke in a major city if things went quickly south for them?
Does anyone here actually think that threat has been 100% neutralized?
If it did happen, who do you think would be blamed?
It would be a huge polarizing event and an excuse to activate about any kind of emergency they wanted to DO anything they wanted.
I wonder if one of the reasons we've been going so slow is removing threats like these as we go. I know we've been making progress, just painfully slow, but maybe there are reasons like these. Clearing mines and boob traps and catastrophic events as we move forward.
