My girlfriend is from China. She grew up there and was in her early 20s when she left. She never saw a hint of a concentration camp for Uyghers. She never heard of it until she got to America.

The Russians didn't know either. Before the Soviet Union fell, if we said to them that we were sorry that they suffered such losses under Stalin, they just laughed at us.
