Just got word the US Army making covid vax mandatory in a few months (don't want to mention the date). Refusal to take it will result in dishonorable discharge, which can destroy any future career, etc. Any ideas, especially from those in the military? Asking for a friend.

Dishonorable discharge is considered a felony, impacting employment, getting loans, 2a rights, etc.
I was just talking with a friend about this yesterday.
I said to him, in my book, taking a dishonorable discharge from the military is an acceptable burden to bear for doing the right thing and avoiding the vax.
In the same conversation we also talked about how getting fired from a job and kicked out of university are just things that patriots have to deal with in this situation.
If DJT does in fact return openly as president, I would think this vax mandate would be revoked, but that is all pie in the sky at this point.
Your friend might want to keep in mind that future employers would probably not hold him in real contempt for his dishonorable discharge if it was for the reason of refusing the vax - something that future society almost certainly will see the wisdom in.
Dishonorable seems rather harsh. I could see the commies giving a bad conduct discharge maybe, but dishonorable? Dam they hate America
