Maybe the main center control level , but there are sub levels for storage, equipment, and nefarious purposes etc. You are correct on the negative values indicate "something" try to leave the surface and hopefully didn't make.

Wtf. Arent DUMBS supposed to be 9.5-10kilos deep? And doesnt a negative value indicate an explosion? Seriously asking because i feel like ive seen that explained somewhere
