Had a youngish (27) black gentleman come to my home (Texas) today for some plumbing-related work. No mask, which is still rare for service companies coming to your home still. I offered to shake his hand and that awkward moment of not knowing how the other person felt about that stuff got us to talking.
He started dropping beautiful bombs such as "Masks don't do anything. The holes in the material are massively larger than the virus."... and "There is more risk from bacteria"... and "I'm not into this whole fear-mongering".
He talked about this Aunt that got the vax (I hate that term as it's provably NOT a vax) and had severe allergic reactions... taking 4 different kinds of allergy meds to try to feel better.
In short, he was based! I love meeting people like this... especially when you don't expect it.
I said it was like dropping a grain of sand through a chain link fence...but it's somewhat effective at stopping snot droplets, which would be like golf/tennis/basket balls with sand on them.
It really doesn't matter what we say if there's no way to amplify the wise voices loud enough to compete with Big Media and Big Social.
