Unusually large number of calls, volume of requests due to Covid seems to be the fallback on short staffing and incompetence of late when you receive a recorded response to a call. Post office uses it for mail deliveries. Priority 2-3 day mail is now taking up to 6 days, while they charge the same fees. I know all of you working on projects with deadlines would love to double your time to finish the project and blame it on Covid!
