The death squads have to find us first. Sold our homes in 2015 and have lived/traveled in an RV since that time. My better half and I saw this day coming in 2014 and made our escape from N. VA the following year.
My Gosh you are living my dream ..I plan on doing this by next winter , Im a single mom with a special needs 29 yr old daughter ..Downs and autism , it will be a bit of a challenge but I’m doing it .. do u stay at parks? I just want to keep moving!
Your daughter will love it! There are so many beautiful and diverse natural settings in the US to enjoy. When you turn 65, get your Golden Pass card, it will save you a boatload of money in National Parks and some State Parks.
I highly arecommend Corps of Engineers parks and National forest campgrounds. One of the most beautiful Ntl. forest campground we stayed at was in the Grand Tetons. Some have camp hosts and other don't, I'd recommend checking that out as some are very remote. Might be judicious to have a camp host in the event of an emergency or difficulty.
If you're eligible for military or federal government retirement, there are numerous military campgrounds in the US, too. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions as I'd love to help!
Thank you so much , I’ll be 65 in two yrs and I’ll get that pass .. I can’t wait to hit the road ..I’ll take u up on the help with questions :) thanks again
