People are saying they wont be armed and others say they dont have the right to make arrests of citizens of australia so why are they there? Intimidation is my guess. Thoughts or facts to support or expose this information/story

ViC received ADF assistance. They were unarmed. Simply assisting police as presence. Please look up ADF in VIC during their lockdown period. If they use this as a precedent. I assume it will be the same.

Illegal, just because they DID it, doesn't mean they are allowed... If I rob a bank because I got away with it does that mean I can do it again?
