I am getting rid of health insurance for my entire family. I never plan to go to the doctors again for anything less than a broken arm. I would choose a small private urgent care over an emergency room in all cases.
get catastrophic insurance just in case of a bad accident.
I suppose Ill look into it just in case. Im tempted to say no to all insurance except car insurance or self defense. Ill be saving about 5000 dollars a year without health insurance alone (family policy). Considering the insurance requires a deductible before they pay a percentage of treatment, I could be saving a lot of money. I am going to have a baby in 7 months or so and even doing the math I am saving money without the insurance! What a scam!!
