Amazing. It is all right there. I am embarrassed to admit that I never watched that show because it seemed so far fetched at the time.

In that show, the guy telling all the truths was treated as a nut case... but still, they did reveal their entire plan. The DS does that a lot, in ways that then encourage people to disbelieve the reveal.
