My sister - who lives in Jacksonville, Florida - just texted me and said that her husband met with a neurosurgeon - he needs surgery, but he can't have it due to the "overwhelming" covid "inpatients". According to my sister, he will remain on crutches / wheelchair and in constant pain! These hospitals need to be held FINANCIALLY responsible for the pain and suffering they are causing regular patients due to their LIES!!

You might not want to hear this but I work for a small 175 bed hospital in Florida and we have 42 COVID patients today and they are really sick. Our entire hospital system is at peak with these patients. It is no joke. As if our clinicians arent already burnt out from this past year, they are now enduring another surge. The average age of these patients is 50.
Curious, bulk of the patients ages and vaccine status?
We survey all patients who come into the hospital regarding their vaccine status. 90% of our current COVID census are unvaccinated. The patients we are seeing this surge tend to be younger. I heard that this could possibly be due to that many of the elderly were vaccinated. The average age is 50, that is not to say that we don't have some in their 30's, 40's, 70's, etc. I was surprised to learn this as I had no idea whether the vaccines were effective. I am not advocating for the vaccines.
