Just want to post that my wife (age 45) got COVID 7 days ago. I am 61yo and both of us have not been VACCINATED. A month ago I started taking zinc and honey every day to try to boost my immune system. My wife chose not to. My wife felt really bad. She took cold and flu medicine and now after 7 days doing much better. During the 7 days I was with her in the same room and slept in the same bed and neither ever had a mask on. Just let you know I am 100% COVID free. I never got sick.

So I know a guy who got covid, loss of taste, smell for 3 days, positive test.
His wife didn't isolate from him, slept in same bed, shared water bottles, kissed and she never got it. He got it at work, along with a couple other guys he works with.
It just doesn't seem to add up..... how can this thing be so infectious.... and yet not at the same time.
My uncle thinks it's got something to do with blood types. We got pretty hammered last time he told me his theory so maybe somebody else has seen the digs he came across that gave him this idea. He mentions people like your story with close relationships and only one gets sick. The question is do you remember SO's getting a bad flu and either infecting their SO or not infecting them pre-covid hysteria? It's not like a family member getting the flue pre covid hysteria would trigger so much overly cautious behavior in those days. We took sick days to prevent spread at work but does that mean it didn't spread at home? Colds tend to spread among family in my parts but I can't really remember any flus that put you on your ass spreading in the same way.
There was a study about blood types and Covid that I remember reading but haven’t been able to find it again. That’s what I get for not saving it.
I read it too. The only thing I remember about it was that those with Type O blood were more resistant to COVID.
In our house, me (B+) got it really bad, and one 0+ had very mild symptoms while the other O+ had a few days of coughing. All with underlying conditions so there may be something to it.
