Apparently the coverage was a joke.

A couple comments from another site: One guy said he was going to watch some event but there was a commercial when he turned it on and after 10 minutes of nonstop commercials, he switched channels and never went back. Another person said that the commentators didn't understand the sports they were commenting on, so they kept saying stupid stuff.

They've named the hosting cities through 2032, but I think it's probably going to be dead long before then, and if it lasts that long, NBC is going to lose a the $9+ billion fortune it spent on coverage through then because the ratings are in the tank and advertisers aren't going to pay big bucks for that kind of exposure.

I didn't catch one event. (I don't watch the one eyed mind sucker) It seems by all indications that the truism "Get woke. Go broke." has given us ample evidence, via the Olympics, of what made that expression a "truism"...

The only thing I'd watch is the horse events, but they never air those, or at least not that I've ever seen.

And too many stupid "Prizes for everyone" sports: BMX racing, skateboarding. Next it'll be synchronized butt scratching and booger flicking.
