betrayal of high office should bear high consequences. that is not retribution, but a reminder of trust placed in the office holder.

I was tempted by the act of retribution, but changed my mind to think that every person will be judged in the end. We just need to change the system so that we only have local government with all people serving the community for a small amount of time each. The way it is breeds corruption, obviously.
