At a talk given by a brave NZ Doctor last night another member of the audience suggested Neem oil as an alternative to Ivermectin. Seems to be used as an insecticide. Anyone with further information please.

Well, it does work well as an insecticide, that I can attest to, but I think mostly it's a deterrent, not an insect killer. Diatomaceous Earth is a good and safe antiparasitic and insecticide that is edible.
Food grade only diatomaceous earth.
Thanks for reminder on Diatomaceous Earth. I use on my cat and it's easy to purchase. Didn't think of that :).
