I heard they were the 10th Mountain division.
If that is true, this could relate to RED4. We always assumed they would be deployed on American soil, but technically they could be seen as "under the guise of conducting citizen riot control" at the airport.

The Marines were first in, followed by 82nd Airborne. Biden said the 10th Mt. Div. today, but have not had any REAL confirmation on that.
What do you call 6,000 marines that stay in a perimeter and leave the work of collecting and rescuing their nationals to other countries marines?
I really do not see this ending well.
What a cluster fuck. Send a Marine MEF or a brigade of the 82nd AB or a brigade of the 10th Mt Div.
Why dribs and drabs from different units? A recipe for disaster!
We are in desperate need of a Colonel's revolt.
