I've read that fluoride attaches itself to the same receptors that would normally be taken by iodine, following that logic if there's sufficient iodine in your body these will already be taken and the fluoride will be harmlessly excreted.
So I'd say yes, even if the original question is irrelevant. Of course, distilling your water would be even better.
