A lot of normies are waking up and figuring out Trump wasn't so bad. The last thing he wants to do is scare them off immediately. He is talking about the vaccine constantly because it's the only thing the left talks about. He is welcoming them slowly to the bright side. It is annoying, but he is still just playing a part.
Yes I hear what he is saying and it’s his boilerplate noncommittal blah blah about rolling out the vaccine. He’s purposefully NOT engaging in the discussion at hand and I think that’s a strategy. If he thought the mandates were good he would agree. If he thought they were bad he would speak out.
But he is avoiding the topic and I think it’s on purpose… just not 100% sure what his purpose is. But I think it’s for the reasons we have said. I do believe though, at some point, he will come out antivax, at least against the mandates. In this interview he also called the boosters a money making scheme.
I think it's deliberately non-committal. If he makes a stern statement in either direction the media will seize on it, his popularity would be tarnished in one quarter or another. He knows his supporters, he's trusting us to see through to the facts while he's coaxing waverers to join. Fine balancing.

The bragging is a problem of course, I can only hope this is optics, all of it, but it does stink.
