Do you think this is the case in the US? I live in Palm Beach County where doctors gave a press conference b/c the beds (and especially the ICUs) have staff overwhelmed and exhausted. Do you feel like they're lying? Misinformed and not educating themselves? I'm in a very conservative area. PLEASE do not attack me for asking a question, I've been lurking here and reading but have been afraid to comment or question anything after seeing people called shills and people calling for them to be banned.
When they report that the hospitals are at capacity, what they fail to report is that capacity is relative to staffing. If they have 20 covid ICU beds, it doesn’t mean 20 beds are filled. If they only have staffing for five beds, they are at capacity of five are filled. There has been a nursing shortage for years. Now, many hospitals are mandating the vax and staff are leaving or being fired. Hospitals are now severely understaffed, especially in places like FL and TX
Edit: no one will ever attack you for asking questions. The attacks usually happen when someone is attempting to aggressively make a point that the board has already discussed in length.
Of course! Most people on the board have no problem answering questions when people are truly seeking answers or have discussions even if they don’t agree. It’s when someone comes in aggressive and takes a stance with nothing to back it up that typically creates the passion.

Thank you for calmly answering my questions! People (understandably) get very passionate here!
