I see a few scenarios playing out here
1 if our refineries go offline or not we will be told they are and that will allow them to keep them off line and create a fuel shortage as long as they want
2 fuel shortage drives fuel prices up to a point where trucking companies refuse to operate because its no longer profitable
3 cost of everything goes up so much due to cost of transport ppl can’t even afford the necessities
4 Biden is a hero and handles the situation in a spectacular manner and there is no disruption ..... hahahahaha

For New Orleans the biggest threat might end up being wind and power outages which then threaten the pumps that keep water out of the city. Surge looks to be contained behind the levees, now wait and see if rainwater can be pumped out.

Jason Bordoff @JasonBordoff · 2h 100% power outage in New Orleans. All 8 transmission lines that serve the city are down. And a major transmission tower that serves the city is evidently in the Mississippi River. Energy called the damage “catastrophic.”
