Why not? Other than possibly not USP. Taking 200 mg would not be hazardous. Like above, chlorine dioxide is a common disinfectant to remove things that make you sick from your drinking water. In a pinch, you could always add Clorox, preferably unscented, to disinfect pond or puddle water making it potable. UV irradiation below about 405 nm (that is included in sunlight even through your window) will pop any “virus” within seconds of exposure. Go outside into the sun, breathe in the air, and drink tap water. If you get sick, 15 mg of horse paste is better than a tube rammed down your throat.
