I personally know someone who’s granddaughter was killed in sandyhook. However, I started looking in to Sandy Hook when she came back from the funeral and stated it was a closed casket, and that her daughter was not given permission to ever see her daughters body. They identified her granddaughter from a Picture of clothing she was wearing that day. That’s when I became very skeptical of SandyHook.
That's hella odd. You usually only resort to that when it's something like a plane crash and it's all you have to identify them. I don't think they keep you from seeing your child even if they're riddled with bullet holes. The funeral sure, but not for ID purposes.
I certainly wouldn't accept my child was dead without observing the corpse, barring complete mutilation, and even then I'd probably still need to see something..
