Watched a video today with a doctor who's been researching the CDC and vaccines. He said the CDC issued a notice to all doctors and hospitals that this fall there would be a lot of cases of acute flaccid myelitis in children (polio type symptoms AKA Guillain Barre). This syndrome was originally noted in the Philippines in 2001 after giving polio shots, and has been appearing annually in the US since 2014. How would the CDC know to expect this, the doctor asked. He thinks it's either in flu shots given to kids or that Covid shots will be approved for kids in the next few weeks. He also noted that the CDC was very specific about the symptoms and told the hospitals and doctors specifically that it should be referred to as acute flaccid myelitis.
